Students, those paragons of knowledge and insight into fundamental life issues, are protesting war with Iraq. I'm intrigued. I mean, if I can't learn from people who are still in school, who can I possibly learn from? You can't expect me to listen to someone who is older and has more experience....that's...that's just ludicrous. Give me the choice between a decorated officer in the US military who has specific knowledge of classified intelligence and a lifetime of service and experience or a screaming 19-year-old engineering student from the University of Texas at San Antonio who has a heart drawn on her belly and carries a sign that says "Wage peace", and I'm choosing the obviously enlightened 19-year-old every time. Who wouldn't?
