So the press is now in 24-hour coverage mode for a race to see who will lose the election in November. It really does seem trivial and hardly worth the hoopla. I can see Agent Smith in the Matrix saying "It is inevitable." Apparently, losing to George Bush is worth spending lots of money to do. Heck, even losing the primary is apparently worth quite a few million...Howard Dean has a reported $30 million to blow, and he won't even get the party's nomination. What's funny is to hear everyone from Kerry, who actually won the New Hampshire primary, to Lieberman, who came in fifth, talking about how great their support is for continuing.
Maybe I'll vote for Dean. I hate to see $30 million just get completely wasted. If America is going to continue the downward spiral toward socialism, at least we could have a president worth laughing at. Yes, I know I ended the previous sentence with a preposition. Sue me.
