Are my pants on fire?
OK,
So I'm really resisting the whole writeup of money essays/sermons. Partly (a big part), I must confess that I've developed a huge cynical reaction to most of modern American Evangelical thoughts about money. I find it hard, frankly, to read much of what anybody has to say.
Also, I stumbled onto this http://www.shepherdserve.org/stewardship.htm , and I found it immensly refreshing (note: if you read much of the rest of that site, you'll note some things I find personally way off base theologically, but I'm not prepared to throw the money baby out with the tongues bathwater).
So, those are the causes of the silence.
