Well, here we are. Standing on the threshold of the third holiday season of blogging, it would just be wrong to not take the time to post an annual Thanksgiving homage.
This year has seen so much for which to be thankful. Much has happened. Marriage continues to amaze me, and my bride continues to steal my heart. The intensity of loss has exposed, to some extent, our capacity for love. The rest of my family and friends have been there when it mattered most. The hurt of a church body has brought people closer than ever. My Creator has shown himself faithful.
Things change, and people change. Times change, and seasons change. Some things fall by the wayside of life and wash onto the shore of the unimportant. A few, precious and essential, ride the current of change and stay with us until we reach the ocean of eternity. I'm thankful for those things.
Thank you for reading.
P.S. I really am thankful that Rush Limbaugh completed his rehab treatment and is on the road to addiction recovery.
