I never imagined this:
"Figures from Nielsen Media Research show the average US household consuming eight hours and 14 minutes of TV per day; with the average individual American watching four hours and 35 minutes a day."
You don't have to be a Christian or even a theist to be shocked by that number. Really? 4.5 hours? Forget living a Christian life...how can you even live a life at all? 25% of your waking time (assuming a 16/8 wake/sleep ratio) is spent in front of a boob tube? Now, I have certainly had occasion to spend that much time in front of a TV, but we're talking average here.
This is just scary.
