Hollywood is getting desperate. They see their political influence waning as Americans wake up to what they really are...entertainers, nothing more. Susan Sarandon has zero credibility on any political issue...she's an actress.
So, bring on the acts of desperation. Michael Moore. Hollywood loves Michael Moore because Michael Moore hates Bush. So, he makes a complete rehash of two years of news into a "documentary" and, of course, Hollywood loves it. Then comes "The Day After Tomorrow", a movie so full of junk science it is hard to figure out where it all came from, except that the author of the book which is the foundation of the movie claimed to get his info from aliens...and I don't mean Mexicans. The director of the film said one of the goals was to "raise consciousness" about the environment. That's fine as long as you don't let facts get in the way.
My head is exploding.
