Ronald Wilson Reagan has died, and people all over the world are attempting to summarize the life and career of this great man. Here's the first installment of my own attempt.

Reagan, like the founders of our country, firmly understood and embraced that liberty was not a thing granted to us by our government. Liberty comes directly from the hand of God. Reagan looked around the world and saw that the constitutions of other countries told the people what they could and could not do. Not America. Our constitution tells government what it can and cannot do and reserves the rest of the power to the people. Reagan understood freedom.
